Useful information

Before entering the retirement home, health information about the future resident is collected by means of a health information form filled in by the general practitioner or ward doctor, if the resident comes from another health facility. Usually, family members visit the facility, get to know the staff, and at this meeting the characteristics and habits of the future resident are highlighted.
After collecting all the necessary data, the multidisciplinary team meets and assesses that the requirements for admission are met, and then the approach strategies are shared and the first courses of action are set.
The resident is welcomed by the team of the chosen residence, who guide him or her in getting to know the facility, the services and the other residents; they also collect additional information about the resident, understand the feelings felt by the resident and his or her family members, who generally accompany him or her during this phase.
Indeed, it is crucial to understand the expectations and needs of the resident's family right from the start.

This is a moment of getting to know each other. In fact, during the first few days in the facility, the resident and his or her family begin to become aware of the new reality and its organisation. At the same time, the operators observe the resident in depth in order to grasp his or her state of mind, adaptability and any incompatibilities with the other residents. During the induction period, socialisation activities, structured according to the guest's predisposition, are often promoted. The presence of the family is fundamental in this phase, helping the resident to live and accept this important moment with greater serenity.

Based on the needs identified during the first period of stay in the facility, individual meetings are organised between the guest and the individual professionals of the team aimed at improving life in the residence. During their stay in the facility, family members are involved and informed at all stages of the care process about the psychophysical progress of their loved one.
All our staff relate with care and attention to the guest, in order to establish a mutual relationship of trust and promote the resident's serenity.
The caring relationship is a changing pathway that transforms itself according to the person's needs, and the assistent is the one who observes and establishes a deep connection, capable of giving meaning to what the person experiences and feels.

The entertainment service and recreational and cultural activities stimulate the guest's intellectual and relational abilities. The projects and recreational activities aim to keep the person within a well-defined space and to promote a network of meaningful relationships that can foster a state of well-being.
Holy Mass is celebrated periodically in the residences.
